One of the things that lead to the creation of our Men's Self Improvement Facebook group, was a realisation. The importance of showing genuine love and compassion for others. For our brothers that are struggling, fighting the battles we fight. There's other groups out there that simply don't hold these principles, and they end up dragging other men down. We need to stop seeing love and compassion as "gay" or "feminine". It's just not true. We need to stop seeing this as weakness, and instead see this as a necessity. A man that has true abundance doesn't try to drag other men down or leave them to suffer, instead he tries to lift others up. He is content in his own life, he has peace, and he wishes the best on others. One of the key princples of a masculinity is leadership, to provide and protect. Leadership is an act of service, for even a king serves his kingdom. We must stop being so inward and self centred. And instead, we must look outward.
